How We Met
Lauren and Christian met while in college at UL Lafayette where Christian received a degree in Computer Science and Lauren in Electrical Engineering. They have been together for over three years, and both work at Techneaux Technology Services in Lafayette, LA.
The Proposal
Christian popped the question on May 28, 2011. They were walking down the River Walk in New Orleans–supposedly going find a place to eat with some friends–when Christian got down on one knee and proposed, taking Lauren completely by surprise. They were both surprised and excited when a steamboat passed right as they were walking away and blew its horn. They are happily engaged and are excited to see their friends and family at the wedding on June 30.
